Home Visits

For home visit requests, please call as early as possible, preferably before 10:00. Your call will be passed to one of our nursing team for assessment.

If you can get to the surgery, please do so. We rely on the co-operation and good common sense of our patients in this respect.  With the facilities at the surgery we can make a much better assessment of your problem and whenever possible, patients will be advised to attend.

Home visits are for those too frail, disabled or confined to bed and unable to attend the surgery.

You can also be visited at home by a community nurse if you are referred by your GP. You should also be visited at home by a health visitor if you have recently had a baby or if you are newly registered with a GP and have a child under five years.
